Q&A with the ArtistTell us how your work is made. With a focus on utility and durability, my work is wheel thrown from either stoneware or porcelain. I handbuild trays and sculptural embellishments for my forms. I often add slip and/or inlay decoration to my work. Visually, I enjoy fusing atmospheric earthy surfaces with bright color. In my creative practice I embrace variation and achieve this by firing in a variety of kilns. This also provides opportunities to engage with other artists through firing which is important to me and my work. |
